Things to do in Bali

Bali offers something for everyone!

Thrill-seekers can conquer volcanic Mount Batur at sunrise or go white-water rafting on the Ayung or Telaga Waja Rivers. Culture buffs can explore ancient temples like Tanah Lot perched on the ocean, the “Gate of Heaven” Lempuyang Temple or attend a sunset Kecak Fire Dance Performance at the stunning Uluwatu Temple or wander the charming rice terraces of Jatiluwih. If relaxation is your priority, pamper yourself in the luxurious spas of Bali or soak up the sun on Nusa Dua's pristine beaches. Experience the vibrant energy and nightlife of Kuta, Canggu or the more upscale Seminyak. Stroll along the shops and art galleries and visit the Monkey Forest in Ubud. Waterfalls, watersports, jeep tours, horseback riding, camel riding, golf, romantic dinners, cooking classes and much more are available in Bali. Reserve privately curated experiences, where you will connect with Bali's soul through a local market visit and private cooking class with a 5* hotel chef, receive blessings by Balinese priests or trek through emerald rice paddies on a vintage VW 181 convertible tour.

Day Trips:

Nusa Islands: Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan are three islands located off the southern coast of Bali. These islands are known for their stunning beaches, clear waters and great snorkeling and diving spots. Nusa Penida Island is a short 1-hour boat ride away from Bali, boasting dramatic cliffs, hidden beaches and the chance to spot manta rays, making it a perfect day trip for exploring untouched beauty.

Ubud is a town located in the central mountains of Bali, known for its art and culture, and the perfect day trip if you want to experience a more traditional side of Bali. Ubud is also home to the Monkey Forest, a sanctuary for hundreds of monkeys. Tegallalang Rice Terraces, about 25 minutes from Ubud, are some of the most beautiful rice terraces in Bali.

Tanah Lot is a beautiful Hindu temple located on a rock formation off the coast of Bali. This temple is particularly stunning at sunset.

Lempuyang Temple, also known as the Gates of Heaven, is a beautiful Hindu temple located on the slopes of Mount Lempuyang, and is known for its dramatic setting and its multiple gates, which can make for some amazing photos!
